Apply now for the Summer 2020 Open Residency in Sicily

Trinacria Theatre Company is pleased to announce that for the first time ever, we are opening our residency to individual artists of all disciplines interested in developing their practice over three weeks in Pezzolo, the beautiful Sicilian village that has been our creative home for the past three years. We are particularly interested in hearing from artists who share our company values, draw inspiration from immersion in new places and cultures, are generous collaborators, and are enthusiastic about working with new communities. We are also particularly keen to hear from artists who are inspired by the themes and stories of our latest work, The Hades & Persephone Project.

The residency will culminate in the Trinacria Arts Festival, August 11 - 13. This will be three days of sharing and community-based activities.

Siamo contentissimi di annunciare che il 2020 è il primo anno in cui Trinacria cerca applicazioni per il nostro soggiorno artistico in Sicilia. Stiamo cercando artisti singoli internazionali, per tre settimane nel villaggio di Pezzolo, Messina. Durante queste tre settimane, gli artisti avranno la possibilità di esplorare la loro creatività con la nostra comunità.

Il soggiorno si concluderà con un piccolo festival dall’ 11 al 13 agosto e con le celebrazione di Ferragosto il 14 e 15 agosto.

Le applicazioni sono aperte a artisti di qualsiasi disciplina. Un minimo livello di inglese colloquiale è necessario per la partecipazione. La scadenza per le applicazioni è il 20 aprile.
